The last day to pick up prizes for Summer Reading is Tuesday, August 12. You may continue to log your reading for the Governor's Summer Reading Challenge for the Monroe Schools, but no further prizes will be earned or awarded by the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library after 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 12.

Our End of Summer Picnic will begin at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, August 12, on the back lawn of the library. Bring your picnic dinner. Dessert will be provided by the library. Jester Jim will begin his performance at 6:30 pm.

In case of inclement weather, the picnic portion of the event will be cancelled and the performance will move indoors. In this event, free tickets will be available 15 minutes before the program and attendance will be limited to 150 people.
