Lotus Flower Lantern Workshop for Tweens & Teens
Monday, April 21st, 4-5 PM
Members of Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project will help you make a lovely lotus flower lantern using colorful paper and wire frames!  While you create, KSCPP will show two short documentaries: one on the meaning of the Lotus Flower and another on Korean artistic traditions. Teen Writers' Slam
Saturday, April 26th, 1-2:30 PM
Teens in 7th-12th grade, join us for our fifth annual celebration of writing!  Come read any short work you have written; poem, short story, or other; to compete for prizes. Each reader gets three minutes to present.  Everyone who reads will receive a gift and a certificate of participation from our panel of local celebrity judges. Families are encouraged to attend. Job Seeking for Teens
Wednesday, April 30th, 4-5:30 PM
Looking for a job?  Need help in finding one?  Then attend this interactive workshop with a Career Specialist from the CT Department of Labor.  Learn tips on resume writing, interviewing strategies and applying for jobs.  Registration is required. Teen Clubs

Do-It-Yourself Dinner & a Movie Club
Meets one Friday of each month at 6 p.m. for a night of fun and food. Each time we meet, you will make an easy-to-prepare meal with the ingredients we provide. Then watch a movie chosen by the group while you eat. The library will be closed so enter at the back of the building. For students in grades 7-12. Limited to 16 people. Registration is required. Teen Advisory Board
Meets the second and fourth Monday of each month. Help us plan programs that teens will want to attend, help out with children's events, and work together to make the community and the library a better place.

Anime & Manga Club
Meets the first and third Friday of each month. For ages 12 and up. Join us to talk about all things animé and manga; watch videos, and do animé/manga related activities.
