Computers

The Edith Wheeler Memorial Library offers 17 public computers for adult users, four for teen users, and six for children.
Computers are first come, first served and there is no time limit. You must have a library card with you to use the computers.

Laptops

The Edith Wheeler Memorial Library owns 10 laptops that are available for in-library use. You must present a valid library card and driver’s license to borrow one of these laptops.

Wi-Fi

The Library’s free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the building. Access does not require a password.

Print from Anywhere

Color and black and white printing is available from our desktop computers or from any device anywhere via our PrinterOn service.  Color prints are $0.25 per page and black and white prints are $0.15 cents per page.

Fax

Public Fax machine is located at the circulation desk. Our circulation staff will assist you in faxing, which is $1.00 per page for sending or receiving.

Copier

The Edith Wheeler Memorial Library offers two black and white copiers for public use. Cost of black and white copies is $0.15 per page.

Scanner

One scanner is available for digitizing documents. The scanner is free.

Hot Spots

The Edith Wheeler Memorial Library owns 5 T-Mobile powered hot spots which may be checked out by borrowers, 18 years or older, and show a valid Connecticut library card. They are great for vacation and travel! Secured Wi-Fi access at locations all over the US with no charge to the borrower. The hotspot kit includes a carrying case, power charger, instructions and a map of usage area. Hotspot checkout is limited to one (1) per household. The lending period is 14 days and they cannot be renewed or reserved ahead of time.
